Born and raised in two different religions — one in Sikhism, one in Islam — we spent years carrying the weight of rules, guilt, and a love that felt conditional.

But even inside all of that, something within us already knew. It spoke loudest the day we chose love over everything — over religion, over family, over everything we were told to be.

And when we finally let the walls around our hearts come down, Jesus was right there, where He had always been. Waiting to walk us home to the one place we were never taught to look. Within — to the Kingdom of God already placed inside us.
