Fear isn’t the absence of faith, but it’s faith pointed in the wrong direction. This means that the answer was never to wait until fear disappears. It’s to redirect what you already have — your faith — back towards what’s actually true, even when you can’t yet feel steady standing there.

Faith over fear doesn’t always mean fear leaves the moment you choose faith. It means choosing Jesus and your faith in Him as the thing you act from, even if the fear is still standing right there beside you. It’s moving towards peace one step at a time, not because the fear is gone, but because your faith is louder.
